whtchVMX helps you log, organize, and review the films you watch or plan to watch.

Getting Started

After opening whtchVMX, use the Library tab to browse your collection. Tap the add button to create a new film entry with a title, rating, status, and optional details.

Adding and Editing Films

• Mark a film as Watched or To Watch.
• Add optional details such as category, director, cast, country, release year, review, and tags.
• Attach a cover image from your photo library or camera.
• Open any entry to view or edit its details.

Library

Use search, filters, and sorting options to find films quickly. Switch between list and grid views from the Library screen.

Calendar

The Calendar tab shows films by watch date. Select a date to see related entries and add a film for that day.

Insights

The Insights tab provides summaries and charts based on your logged films, including viewing activity and category trends.

Tags and Settings

• Manage custom tags from Settings.
• Choose light, dark, or system appearance.
• Remove all saved data from Settings if you want to reset the app.

Permissions

whtchVMX requests access to your photo library and camera only when you choose to add or update a cover image. You can change permission settings on your iPhone at any time.

Troubleshooting

• Cover image not appearing: Check that Photo Library or Camera access is enabled for whtchVMX in iPhone Settings.
• Missing entries after an update: Make sure you are using the same device and have not removed app data.
• App performance: Close and reopen the app, then restart your iPhone if needed.
